Jack Pine is an indie-folk lone wolf: a Juno and Canadian Folk Music Awards nominated singer-songwriter playing dynamic and gritty Canadiana with an amplified mandolin and acoustic guitars.

With smouldering intensity, he sings out the beauty of the wreckage and the heart of the wretch. His songs chase an incredulous ray of hope pulled straight from the daydreams of a kind-hearted pre-millennial slacker in a dystopian post-millennial world.

When Jack takes the stage, you can't help but howl and sing along to his wry folk wisdom - at once biting and inspiring - as his mandolin plays furiously then softly. This is alt-folk singer-songery for those who'd rather dance to mandolin rhythms than drum machine beats ...or just sit and dig on some real good tunes for real dark times.
